Each year, Project Access of Durham County helps 2,000 Durham residents access more than $5 million in donated specialty care — care that would otherwise be out of reach.
Project Access of Durham County envisions every Durham County resident will have access to quality health care in an environment that fosters health and wellbeing. Our mission is to improve the health of Durham County residents by providing access to specialty care, case management, and essential services through a network of community partners dedicated to ensuring everyone can access the care they need.

Your gift provides:

Access to care coordination and specialty care provided by physicians and other healthcare practitioners, along with case management and ancillary services.

Transportation to medical appointments — so a missed ride doesn’t become missed care

Durable medical equipment for recovery and to promote aging in place

Support after hospitalization, including housing connections and benefits navigation

How your gift helps:

$25 removes practical barriers to care for Durham residents in need

$100 provides durable medical equipment for treatment and recovery

$150 connects a patient to specialty care and care coordination

$500 sustains care coordination for patients navigating illness

$1,000 connects a patient leaving the hospital to health, housing, and recovery support

Durham residents need care now. Your gift helps make it possible. Please give today.
